1cmfr- Aquamarine on Muscovite with Albite, Spessartine, & Schorl - $750    SOLD
Shigar, Baltistan, Pakistan
Miniature, 6 x 6 x 4 cm

An aesthetic specimen that immediately catches the eye. The aquamarine crystal is transparent and gemmy but also double terminated and completely undamaged without any dings or Wilbers.  The position of the 3.7cm crystal is perfect on a large Muscovite crystal and the specimen sits well for display.  This is also a great combination specimen.  On the reverse is a small gemmy Spessartine, white Albite, and part of the side of a Schorl crystal emerging from the Albite.

2cmfr - Rhodochrosite on Natrolite with Aegirine - $175

Mont Saint Hillaire is known worldwide.  This is a large multi-terminated white to colorless Natrolite crystal which is covered with many, many rhombs of dark reddish brown Rhodochrosite.  The smaller Rhodochrosite crystals are transparent and the larger crystals are transluscent.   Several black Aegerine crystals are included through the Natrolite crystal.

Classic U.S. Apatite locality in a miniature with beautiful purple Apatite hexagonal crystals on a matrix with Quartz.  Crystals are to 3 or 4 mm and there is damage to at least 50% of the crystals.  Also present is Muscovite and minor green Tourmaline.  Pulsifer Apatites are highly desirable and seldom seen.

Urucum Mine, Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
7 x 3.5 x 2 cm

Super gemmy, choice, undamaged, naturally etched floater crystal of Kunzite.  This could not be more flawless or gemmy.  Cabinet sized specimens were uncommon and some of the large specimens just were not aesthetic.  This speicmen is both large and aesthetic.  Fantastic Kunzite for the gem mineral collector.  77.7gm in weight.

9cmfr - Wulfenite with Mimetite - $395

Jeffrey Mine, Asbestos, Quebec, Canada
3 x 1.5 x 1.5

A very fine double terminated floater green and purple undamaged Vesuvianite crystal.  Looking under a loop, I did find 2 extremely small dings, probably not visable to the eye.   The Jeffrey has been reported closed, so specimens will be harder and harder to find.

An arc of stunning crystallized Gold from an Australian locality.

16cmfr - Kyanite - $295     SOLD
Barro do Salinas, Minas Gerais, Brazil
Small Cabinet, 4.5 x 4.5 x 2 cm

Kyanites are usually opaque crystals embedded in quartz, but this is a gemmy, lustrous royal blue Kyanite and a  spectacular specimen. The crystal here is 2.7 cm in length on a contrasting Quartz matrix.

17cmfr - Calcite - $975       SOLD
Elmwood Mine, Carthage, Smith County, Tennessee
9.5 x 5 x 4 cm

A choice, brilliantly lustrous, gemmy transparent golden orange Calcite twinned crystal.  Totally undamaged with perfect terminations.  Backside has contact area as seen in the one photo and an extremely minor 1 x 3 mm bruise on one face.  Many of the "good ones" that I have seen always seem to have one termination with slight cleavage damage which is reported as minor and not hurting the specimen or minor dings of 1 or 2 cm.  Calcites from Elmwood with perfect terminations are rarieties.  Now that the mine is closed, these beautiful Calcites will only become harder and harder to fine, especially the Choice specimens.

18cmfr - Uranocircite - $550
Sao Pedro Mine, Malachacheta, Teofilo Otoni, Minas Gerais, Brazil
2 x 1.5 x 1 cm

Large sharp book of electric yellow green micaceous undamaged crystals of Uranocircite.  These are highly fluorescent with the chemical formula Ba(UO2)2(PO4)2.12H2O.

19cmfr - Stokesite, Stannomicrolite - $375
Urucum Mine, Galileia, Minas Gerais, Brazil
1.5 x 1 x 1 cm

This is a sphere of undamaged rare Stokesite crystals. On the Stokesite are micro crystals of Stannomicrolite.  Stannomicrolite's chemical formula is (Sn,Fe,Mn)2(Ta,Nb,Sn)2(O,OH)7.

20cmfr - Rhodochrosite - $3500
N'Chwaning Mine, Kalahari, South Africa
2.6 x 1.5 x 1.6 cm

A gem grade, cuttable, cluster of deep cherry-red, highly lustrous, transparent crystals of rhodochrosite scalenohedral crystals.  The cluster is made up of three main crystals.  The largest crystal has a slight tip cleave as see in the lower right photo which does not detract from the beauty of this specimen as seen in the other six photos.
