This is a superb
Manganoan Calcite from Pachapaqui. Totally undamaged except one
small cleave on the very tip of one crystal. This would be
impossible to find except that the cleaved tip is lustrous and the
specimen has a matte luster. So if the light is right you can see
it. Does not show when displaying. ex Cal Graeber. |

Here is a fine
undamaged Peruvian Rhodonite. It is more pink than the photos show
from the light micro white Quartz which looks like a bit of snow on the
Rhodonite crystals.

| Here is a fine Peruvian Rhodonite which appears to be undamaged but may have a few cleaved crystals. It is hard to pick these out unless you can see the different luster of a cleaved crystal edge. All in all in great shape with no obvious damage. The close up shows some larger than normal terminated Quartz crystals on the bladed Rhodonite crystals. |
