Double terminated crystal with no damage
or chipping. Top termination is pointed and bottom is chisel or
flattened wide termination. With a loop both top and bottom
termination have small multiple rounded terminations and not a sharp
point or sharp edge. This is the natural termination growth and
not damage to the terminations. With no background light at all
the crystal is lustrous and a dark charcoal bluish blue color and
appears almost opaque. With normal background light it is a bluer
dark color and translucent at the tips and slight striping is apparent.
With back light is is tranlucent with a striping pattern of a light
perhaps a navy blue and slightly cream to colorless. I think
this one is attractive and more unusual than the typical yellow or light
blue translucent to transparent coloration.
